Just Getting Started

We are in the first steps of building what we hope to be an outstanding herd of Quarter and Paint Horses. The cornerstone of our breeding program is our quarter horse stallion - Tru Cool Splash. We are adding mares to the crew that will be excellent crosses. We are not going to breed numerous mares each year, just trying to breed quality mares.

Lilly is a 1989 model sorrel AQHA mare. She stands 15.1 H and weighs 1200#. She is a wonderful broodmare that is an easy breeder and an excellent mother. She has excellent conformation, a sweet disposition, and is built the way a quarter horse should be.

Lilly has a pedigree second to none - she is an own daughter of multiple world champion stallion and world champion producer Obvious Conclusion. She is out of a superior halter mare - Daddys Lil who is a daughter of superior halter horse - Beaus My Daddy.
Her pedigree reads like a who's who in the quarter horse halter industry, so to add to this pedigree we have bred her to Tru Cool Splash, an own son of Ima Tru Skip and out of a Skippa Splash daughter. Due to Lilly's age we decided to leave her open for 2011 and may make the decision after a vet evaluation this year to retire her broodmare career and let her finish out her life as a pasture ornament.

Lilly finally foaled a chestnut filly on Easter Sunday - April 4th. I was starting to think she would be pregnant forever. For photos of Lilly's filly "Annie" check out our "Photo Center" in the album Daddys Tru Conclusion.

Our Newest Additions

We added 2 new mares to the herd. The first is a 1998 liver chestnut daughter of Charlies Out of Oil. She has had babies of substance with refinement and beauty. As of right now she is scheduled to be bred to Tru Cool Splash in May.

The other mare is a 1999 model sorrel point earning/producing mare by Obvious Prophet. She is an amazing mare with a brilliant eye, long thin neck, wonderful conformation, and a delightful disposition. She is also scheduled to be bred to Tru Cool Splash in May.

They are in there winter woolies so photos will be posted this spring.
We are continually looking for exceptional broodmares to add to the crew.
