Quality Rather Than Quantity

We only breed a couple mares a year.  And look to pass on the outstanding characteristics of our herd rather than breed for quantity or profit.  Please look at our Prospects Page to see the results of these crosses.

Our Belgian Mares

Conrad's Pearl
(By Clay-Crest Conrad and out of Lazy P Pet V by Big Ben's Roscoe)

(Conrad's Pearl is the left hand mare (the mare on the near side); M.E.Y. Carol (deceased) is the right hand mare from the teamster's seat)

Pearl is a 1991 registered Belgian mare.  She is a wonderful mare with a friendly disposition and a willing temperament.  She passes on these traits to her foals which makes her a easy choice to cross on Jim.  She has contributed to many of the awards that have been brought home by Neidermyer Pulling Horses.  In 2001, Pearl was carrying her 2nd foal by Jim, nursing a filly by Jim, and was very competitive at over 25 horse pulls that summer.

Pearl had a gorgeous blonde filly on April 3, 2010.  We have left her open for 2011.

Chris Mary
(By Dakota Albert and out of Chris Rosalee by Sunny Lane Conductor)

(Chris Mary is the left hand mare; Judy (owned by Jeff Neidermyer) is the right hand mare)

Chris is a 1993 registered Belgian mare.  She is our top producer that passes on her width and muscle mass as well as her disposition, agility, and easy going nature to her foals.  Chris has raised some absolutely wonderful foals and has proven herself to be an excellent mother.

Chris is due in March and was bred to Jim's son - Neidermyer Diamond Pistol.  Update - Chris foaled on April 1 - she had a beautiful blonde filly.

The Other Girls

(The mare on the left is Neidermyer Christl Jazmyn "Jazzy" and the mare on the right is Neidermyer Precious Jewel "Julie")

Both of these mares were born on the farm in April 2001.  They are both daughters of Diamond"s Jim.  Julie is out of Conrad's Pearl.  She is an amazing mare with a wonderful disposition, then add to that she is over a ton of blonde belgian beauty.  Julie and Jazzy have been together their entire lives (with the exception of 6 weeks for training).  They even wander around the pasture together.  Jazzy is another 2000+ pound gorgeous blonde mare with an amazingly stunning head out of Chris Mary.  She is the "little" sister of the pair being 11 days younger than Julie.  We are hoping to find a suitable stallion for both mares to be bred to in 2011.  Julie has had one foal for us and was an amazing mother.  We are hoping that the girls will be able to be bred and have there 'kids' together too.
